Rif Pottery Bowl

I spotted this hanging on the wall of a weaver's shop in the Moroccan town of Chefchaouen (famous for its blue buildings), high in the Rif Mountains. I just loved the swirling turquoise patterns and its rustic hand-made quality. There's a very small chip on the rim, but I don't think this diminishes its charm. It's made with a hole (like a piercing) in the base so that it can be hung on a wall.

Size: 18cm diameter x 8cm high
